I've been running PageSentry to fire re-boot scripts etc.I've had visions of a webcat site where anyone can enter the hours that they can be available for handling notifications & doing re-boots, etc., in exchange for being able to specify which servers/services they want monitored. As soon as I start to consider the effort required for structuring security, server re-boot and re-start procedures, distributing higher volumes of requests intelligently between multiple people, and on and on, I realize that buying an intelligent outlet strip with an Ethernet port for about $400 and fiddling around with some scripting will probably automate my whole situation.-Pat> -----Original Message----- > From: Allen Booth [mailto:albooth@interlog.com] > Sent: Thursday, September 03, 1998 10:58 AM > To: Webcatalog Talk > Subject: Fishing: anyone on this group willing to do support? > > > Hi there... > > I develop WebCatalog based web sites.
