WebCatalog is a superior product even at it's current price,AND the documentation is adequate (not good or great) for most people.I've looked at Icat and used products such as tango/butler andtango/filemaker and I just don't think you are going to be able to get theflexibility and speed (and ease of use - learn SQL, then try to tell me howhard webDNA is... I love webDNA's ease of use) that most professional sitesrequire. Plus I spent over $1,000 to travel to Toronto, Canada to taketraining to use Tango to learn to do things that WebDNA has simple commandsfor.Every piece of software you try will have problems. No manual is evercomplete. And the mark of a good widely used product is the availability ofthird party training materials.Good Luck, Paul>Well I have heard enough..... and I tried out the demo ....and I have>read with interest the problems not only with WebCatalogue but with the>guts they have had to even think about charging $800 or so dollars for a>training video to teach how to use the simple???? product at a very high>price.>>Not for me...
