texte = I've got a WebCat site that I'm trying to convert from URL-based webdna to Forms-based. I'm having a hard time getting the forms to work properly...basically, something winds up happening (I don't know if it's a faulty form, a faulty table, or what) to the data in the [Desc1] field in my database. Any html-based text within that field somehow gets misinterpreted, and parts of it show up next to the form button I'm trying to create. To see what I'm trying to explain, try going to:http://www2.cmorgan.com/cmorgan/trial2/entry.tplEnter the store, then click on a category. The hit list that shows up will have some garbage characters in the Item Number field next to the form button. This is part of the html text within the item's [Desc1] field. Here's the form:
When I convert the files back to using a URL link instead of a form button, the problem is solved. I know it has something to do with the way the [Desc1] field's information is being passed, since deleting the hidden field for it makes the garbage characters disappear, but then the information from that field doesn't get passed when you go to the Detail.tpl.Please let me know if there's any other parts of the code you need to see...Thanks!-------------------------------John Kannenberg - Web Developerkannenberg@sells.comSells Printing Company, LLC16000 West Rogers DriveNew Berlin, WI 53151414/784.9500--------------------------------
