texte = We could not with the old and neither we can with beta #9: write the error log. Permissions are 777, but the log remains empty. The admin interface claims to clear the log which is not true. We modified ErrorLog.txt to be sure to look at the right one. We found a file named ErrorTemplate which looks like an include and modified the path of the [appendfile...] context in several ways and took out secure=T. No avail. Why can we read ErrorLog.txt but not write to it? Does WebCat even use the file ErrorTemplate? Why is there no configuration file to change or at least see how the paths are defined? btw - we run the SUSE distribution, not RedHat. But that should not make any difference, should it?Our server root is /web/WebSites/ and in WebSites are the virtual hosts. In one of them lives WebCat. What is wrong with this configuration?
