So, rather than using an email service, set up your own dedicated fax server with HTML->fax support. While it would be nice to outsource this, a server of this sort isn't hard to set up and support. The major shortcoming in this is that email isn't a secure solution. Netmoves offers a set of API's (for Windows only) to construct an application on your server to communicate with them. However, writing such an app is currently beyond me and I don't want to commit to NT anyway.
