I need to develop a messageing system that can best be described as anintraice e-mail system. It would not have any need to send mail outsideor receive mail from outside the website.I'm envisioning something that looks like an e-mail messaging system withthe user having a web interface to their messages. All the messages wouldbe plopped in a database of course. Each user could compose messages and send them to other users. When a userwants to check their messages, they would see somethign like this:>From Subject Date Time Delete===================================================Joe This is a test 11/22/99 13:43 DelMary Follow-up 11/22/99 14:44 DelSally Re: Help 11/22/99 15:32 DelEach line in the results would be linked to the actual message. Whilereading the message, the user would have the ability to delete or reply ordo nothing.I want to incorporate this with the main login page so that a user, oncelogged in would get a little icon or something that tells them they havenew mail waiting. I would love to be able to include the you have new mailmessage on every page, so that they get notified of new mail as soon asthey hit the next page in the site no matter what page that is.So... anyone have something like this or should I get out my chisel andstart making a new wheel?_________________________________________________Joseph D'Andrea JoeDan@West21.comWEST21.com Internet services for the 21st Century http://www.west21.com/_________________________________________________-------------------------------------------------------------Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server. To end your Mail problems go to .This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .To unsubscribe, E-mail to: To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to
