I feel like I'm in china, where people>>are tried to control the information or something.I am actually trying to help PCS to find a way to provide faster and better tech support, that is the only reason for my suggestion to have a second list for 'experts'.I think the critical fact that some of you may have missed in my previous posts is that my idea is designed so EVERYONE can get ALL the answers to ALL their questions, every time! It's not like the 'experts' are going to be receiving secret or privileged information that no one else can get. My goal is for everyone to receive the exact same information that the 'experts' receive! All they have to do is subscribe to the experts list. It's just that a subscription to the experts list would NOT automatically allow you to post to the list, even though you can see and read every messages that someone else posts ...The idea here is that only those recognized by PCS as 'experts' could post to the experts list. This will eliminate 99% of the messages that most webcatalog users ask. Thus the expert list will truly be a list where the posted messages are those that ONLY John, Jay or Grant can answer. The problem some of the 'experts' have been having with PCS is that our questions can only be answered by John, Jay or Grant -- but these three men have been way too busy with other tasks to answer our 'expert' questions like they used to a couple of years ago ...... and one thing that sucks up their time is having to monitor all the messages WebDNA-Talk. Even when they try to review all the messages on WebDNA-Talk, they still miss the important 'expert' questions which only they can answer.I would love to hear some constructive additions or enhancements to my proposal, or even a different proposal that would insure that the 'experts' get their questions answered promptly from now on.Just remember, whatever you suggest will have to require very little time for PCS to implement and maintain. I think that's the key to a viable solution here. It seems like no matter what solution is proposed, it's going to have to save John, Jay and Grant some time -- so they can have a little extra time to respond to the specific questions which only they can answer ...:)================================Kenneth Grome, WebDNA Consultant808-737-6499, http://webdna.net================================-------------------------------------------------------------Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server. To end your Mail problems go to
