Anyway... what I had originally intended with this thread was a way to protect content from being manually taken. For example I have a directory /greatmusic/ and protect the index.tpl page there using WebCat' spage protection. Fine. Wouldn't a more cunning user simpy be able to manually enter ./greatmusic/1.mp3, ./greatmusic/2.mp3 thereby bypassing any attempts I make to guard that music from being downloaded without paying for it?? Aside from setting up an apache realm type of thing is there a better way to protect from manually entered URLs? Forgive me if there is an obvious answer here.. still pretty new to this.
