I don't feel I am expert enough to speak definatively but in my experience, so far, you cannot end one context in the middle of another. Think of them as wrappers . In the snip above you have - [showif num=1] blah [hideif field=check][/showif][/hideif] ...I don't think that is valid syntax. I think the [hideif] has to be completely embedded within the [showif], or vice versa. Again I am not an expert, but I know when I have previously tried to wrap the opening and closing parts of a context (like a [search])- each with its own [showif] - it did not work.
