texte = Hey all- I have form that is appending to a database and is working ok except for the following: 1a The line that has the [append] contains over 50 variable names is extremely long. When I coded it, I made sure that 'wrap' was off and that line breaks occured where they should (i.e., not at &name=[url]name[
/url]). 2a The line was so long that I did have to break it as mentioned above. I noticed however, that where there is a break, the [append] is inserting a strange character that is causing unwanted results in the admin section (vieworders). Namely, I used [showif [name]!]html...[/showif] to show this line item if it contained any characters. The line shows with those unwanted characters that the append is placing there.To the point: 1b. Can/should I use multiple [append]'s instead of a linebreak in the .tpl? Will this work? 2b.
