texte = One thing that may be different about WebCat served pages is that some older versions did not send the proper HTTP header to specify the total length of the page; I don't know for certain when this got fixed. IE tends to jump the gun and begin rendering as soon as possible; NN tends to wait until a more complete file has been transferred. The result of this is that IE will tend to rerender pages more often than NN. YMMV.In order to clue the browser in to what the page is going to look like, you must have all graphics include dimensions as well as an ALT tag. This is also just good HTML coding style. You should also include WIDTH and HEIGHT for all tables, as absolute values instead of percents, if you want to minimize the browser's parse time. I don't use the latter myself, since I try and design my sites to scale from 640x480 to 1024x768 without looking awkward.HTHJohn Peacock ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: Images Author: (WebCatalog Talk) Date: 3/24/00 11:15 PMOn Fri, 24 Mar 2000 12:12:16 -1000 Kenneth Grome wrote: > >nope.
