texte = Sorry to send webcat-talk-like mail, Ken. I got confused. I post two requsets to WebCat. 1. Japanese Kanji code conversion There are three codes in Japanese Kanji, SJIS, JIS, EUC. There is no standard of Kanji code on the web(maybe Mac/PC browser posts SJIS kanji code, Linux browser posts EUC kanji code), so web server must convert the posted Kanji character to one code (in our case, SJIS) to process searches, writing to order files or so.There are some kanji code conversion program. One is jcode.pl It is written in Perl. If you don't like Perl, PHP3-i18n-ja has great many Kanji related functions. http://php.jpnnet.com/php-3.0.14-i18n-ja.tar.gz 2. Oracle connection If WebCat can Connect to Oracle like PHP, it's great. Thanks in advance. _________________________________________________________________ Kenji Suzuki GANSEKI Internet Service Phone+81-776-52-1161/Fax+81-776-54-9121 http://www.ganseki.ne.jp/ http://ntt-shop.ganseki.ne.jp/ _ Gate Gate Paragate Parasamgate Bodhi Svaha ____________________############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
