texte = If CGatePro operates exactly like sendmail in the command line options it takes (doubtful actually), you can create a soft link so WebCatalog will think it is using sendmail when in reality it is using CGatePro.First, find the old sendmail file (try which sendmail or type sendmail) and rename it to something else (to sendmail.real or something), but don't delete it. Then type ln -sf /path/to/CGatePro /path/to/sendmail and you will create a link to CGatePro called sendmail.CAVEATS: I doubt this will work and it is probably a dumb idea in any case. Sendmail is an incredibly complex beast and a standard part of most Unix installs; tamper with it at your own risk. There is no reason to believe that CGatePro was designed to act as a sendmail clone (especially if the docs do not explicitely state that it does).John Peacock ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: Using the sendmail command on CGate Pro (Unix) Author: (WebCatalog Talk) Date: 4/12/2000 7:36 PMGood luck there. I had the same problem with MacOS X Server, CGatePRo, and WebCatalog on the same box and ended up offloading my CGatePro to another machine just so WebCat could use it's [sendmail] context with unix sendmail properly. I looked hard to see if I could adjust some setting/script/pref for WebCat to use the CGatePro sendmail daemon, but had no luck. Pacific Coast.. ..
