texte = I installed 3.08 and The first time I hit a url processed through wc engine it asked for the serial: I entered the serial and everything worked ok. Or so It seemed. I then went to the admin page and it asked for the serial again. I entered it again. I then displayed old style username and password entry box. I entered my uname and pw and then it came up with this 2.1 database uses encyp etc. etc. (see below). I am confused by your question, since the message you received seems clear enough to me. When you upgrade from 2.x to 3.x, the users database gets updated to a new format. There will be a user with a name UPDATEDONE which tells WebCat that the database has already been upgraded.
