texte = Jay, I notice that the binary upload functionality is not yet discussed in the new docs. Would it be prudent to start a discussion of what kind of parameters and functionality are going to be available with this context? There are many of us who have played a lot with upload alternatives in the absense of a purly Webcat solution and in doing so have a good idea of what functionality is important to make file upload forms useful. To start, the obvious ommissions to the WebStar Upload plugin that are most useful are: 1. Option to write over, reject, or rename a file if one already exists. This should be a context parameter and not a global preference. 2. Context or token indicating successful or failed upload. This is important for functionality such as [showif [SuccessfulUpload]=F]Sorry, the file was not uploaded properly, please try again. [include file=TheUploadForm][/showif] 3. Contextual option for upload directory, and for WebStar, &secure=T/F 4. InternetConfig for file types on mac if secure=F. Unless you have a better solution. But it seems to have become a standard, ala: Apple's Internet control panel. 5. Of course, all formvariables should be available on return page. Way too obvious, but I thought I'd throw it out there because it's the main reason the WebStar plugin is mostly unusable with Webcatalog.
