texte = WebMerchant does this automatically, with ShipVia=WEB. Since WC4.0 is going to include WebMerchant for free, I would recommend waiting for that to come out, rather than reinventing the wheel. If you really want to do it yourself, do something like this:1) on the final invoice page, copy the file(s) to a temp directory with the name of the cart as its name, i.e. /temp/[cart]/realfile.name2) produce a page that has link(s) to that directory to redirect the user to; make sure the page says that there is no point to bookmark it.3) write a recursive page to delete all directories older than 24 hours and a trigger to run it once a day.It is not too hard, but waiting for WebMerchant would be a much easier method.HTHJohn PeacockBritt T. wrote: > > I am trying to have a members only restricted area where paying > subscribers can log in and download pdf or word files that they have > paid for - but I do not want to reveal the true location of the file. > Is anyone out there doing something like this? > > Any ideas? > > -- > ====================================================================== > Britt Thompson | PO Box 1989 > FishingWorld.com | Lindale, TX 75771 > Easttexas.com | Ph: (903) 882-8877 / Fax: (903) 882-3110 > ====================================================================== > > ------------------------------------------------------------- > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
