The best I could think of was to include the perl/cgi scripts using an apache server side include, but I can't do this either because for a file to use a server side include, it's file type must have server-parsed for the mime handler, which means webcat won't get it handed to it, thus the webcat wouldn't execute... if only I could manually parse a WebCat page through the command line, then I could exec the appropriate includes from perl, and display that output...I think I'll make that a request on the bta list... unless there is already a way to do it?Derek >I don't believe that a single page can be parsed by two separate handlers >one after the other, but I have successfully written Php3 pages to evaluate >things and then send the results in a url redirect, with the correct >parameters. > >But the only thing I have done this for is image uploading, I've found >everything else was easier to build in Webcat. > >What is it you are trying to accomplish? Paul - we are using the UBB bulletin board system, because it is the only one we could find for a reasonable price that deas what we need, but it is perl based, and we want to set it up to use our webcat Top Menu and Banner program includes, both of which are generated in WebCat.
