texte = *This message was transferred with a trial version of CommuniGate(tm) Pro* I've had WebCatalog for a couple of months now running WC 4.01 on Max OS X Server using a networked Imac as my development computer and using GoLive for my authoring tool. I have tried to follow the threads on this discussion board, but if truth be told, you guys and gals are waaaaaay ahead of me. I'm not a techie - I know enough to be dangerous - but I need some help.I'm still trying to get a very basic site to work using StoreBuilder. For now I don't need much more than that. I need a little help to get things moving along. Here's the short list of things I need help with.I'm having all sorts of troubles with file ownerships - the command line says one thing and the graphical inspector says another - and I can't get things to run properly.I don't understand the .db structure. I know this WebCatalog 101, but call me dense. I don't get it. I've tried to create some databases using DataBaseHelper, but when I move them to my development computer to add graphics, etc. and move it back to its original site, it quits working. I need several databases created to capture customer request for quotes, placing orders, tracking status, etc. but for now it ain't workin'.Is there a way to treat my Store site as if it were a directory on my development computer? I would like to use GoLive to link everything up and get the plumbing fixed, but with WC on the server and the site development starting on another computer, I can't make things work the way I want them to.That's the big stuff for now, thanks in advance for your help, and remember please be kind, I am a delicate soul. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
