I have tried to follow the threads on thisdiscussion board, but if truth be told, you guys and gals are waaaaaay aheadof me. I'm not a techie - I know enough to be dangerous - but I need somehelp.I'm still trying to get a very basic site to work using StoreBuilder. Fornow I don't need much more than that. I need a little help to get thingsmoving along. Here's the short list of things I need help with.I'm having all sorts of troubles with file ownerships - the command linesays one thing and the graphical inspector says another - and I can't getthings to run properly.I don't understand the .db structure. I know this WebCatalog 101, but callme dense. I don't get it. I've tried to create some databases usingDataBaseHelper, but when I move them to my development computer to addgraphics, etc. and move it back to its original site, it quits working. Ineed several databases created to capture customer request for quotes, placing orders, tracking status, etc. but for now it ain't workin'.Is there a way to treat my Store site as if it were a directory on mydevelopment computer? I would like to use GoLive to link everything up andget the plumbing fixed, but with WC on the server and the site developmentstarting on another computer, I can't make things work the way I want themto. That's the big stuff for now, thanks in advance for your help, and rememberplease be kind, I am a delicate soul. -------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
