texte = Is there a simple way to strip extra spaces from form fields before they are appended to a database? I have a form that collects information from users. The user creates their own record in the database via this form. The user can then log back in at any time by entering their name and a password. I've encountered several instances where the user could not log back in. After further investigation I found that they had entered an extra space character either before or after their name or password. The login was then disallowed if the name or password did not match exactly. If the preceeding or trailing space is provided login is successful. What is my best course of action to prevent this from occuring? Is there a command or context that I can use to remedy this? Thanks in advance for any insight...-- Marc Thompson Multimedia/Web Developer KUED/Media Solutions/University of Utah 801.585.9264 mthompson@media.utah.edu------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
