texte = A client, whose store we recently completed, would like visitors to have the option of paying by mail. I have a working knowledge of WebMerchant, but I'm not expert on the e-commerce functions of WebMerchant/WebCatalog. So, I'm asking for any pointers that you all may have.After filling their shopping cart and adding billing and shipping info, the visitor can print a page that contains all their information. The visitor will check a box on the page for Check, Money Order, or Credit Card. If they're paying by CC, they fill in the necessary information. The visitor then sends the printed page with check or money order, if necessary, to us.If they used a credit card, we need to process the card through AuthorizeNet. If they used a check, we'll wait until the check clears. If they pay be money order, we'll immediately mark the order as complete.Here's the catch: All of this needs to be done using WebCat/WebMerchant and the original Orderfile. So, we're basically putting the order on hold until we receive payment from the visitor. Once payment has been verified, we need to let WebCat/WebMerchant know, so that monthly totals and inventory can be updated as if it were a order processed in real-time.My main hang up is how to take the order out of the WebMerchant loop, then put it back in with no loss of information. Also, I'm thinking that CC orders will have a payMethod=CC, and check/money order orders will have payMethod=AC so I can run it through without checking anything. Is this right?Does anyone have any pointers?
