When debugging a script, I use an include file that will list all the variables that has been POSTed to it, so I can keep track of the data being passed. Just include the following somewhere before your search tag: [formvariables] [name]-[value]
[/formvariables]List the variables, and see if they come out as you expected. Sometimes, passing a special character or an HTML entity that has been translated or encrypted to WebCat can cause problems. Your problem may be related to this issue.
