WebCat is a memory resident database, and there is no way for two computers to share the same memory. If you have specific files that are readonly, you can keep them in WebCat, and have the changing databases in SQL on some third server. I know that some people have engineered systems so that all appends/replaces/etc. get updated to the other server via [tcpconnect] (search the archive for details). If you are hitting a performance limit (and not trying to simply load average on general principles), you can look at moving to another platform. Other platforms are better tuned for multiuser activity.HTHJohn-- John Peacock Director of Information Research and Technology Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group 4720 Boston Way Lanham, MD 20706 301-459-3366 x.5010 fax 301-429-5747------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
