It keeps the original formatting.

texte = Tab = %09You should probably not have tabs anywhere in your fields, though. It usually means that you're not properly organizing your database and including more than one fact per field.Think about how you've organized the data.I'm dealing with a customer database with a prepInstructions field for every product. The prepInstructions field contains all the steps, including tabs and carriage returns, so that the field can just be printed on the product bag.Getting those instruction to display properly online is almost impossible. It really should be a separate database of steps, and another database to associate steps with products. If you're setting up a new database, and not dealing with legacy stuff, find a way to reorganize your data so that you don't need tabs. Use table cells to separate fields into columns.Pat > Hi, > is there a standard representation for a tab in a database? > > -- Donovan D. Brooke > Systems Administrator/ > Assc.
