texte = Hi there,I've set up a facility for clients to upload their own databases... (GASP) This is a concern for a number of reasons:* Clients are inherrently dumb (only joking)* The have to upload a tab-delimited text file, where each record has a unique number (SKU) (it's only two fields though - SKU and email address)* The file must end with a CR ready for the next record (which WebC creates an SKU for)* If they don't create unique numbers...........Each of these has the potential to be a problem. At the moment, they upload the file, it renames the file to db name, flushes databases, and they're ready to go (assuming they've done it correctly).A client just asked if he could use a comma-separated file. No I said. Is there a way of making this more efficient. It would be easier if they could just upload a list without SKUs, and WebCat put them in. Is any of that possible? Any thought or ideas would be greatly appreciated.Regards,TimTim RobinsonArt Directorimagine onlinetim@imagine.com.auhttp://www.imagine.com.au-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
