Some directories are named aux or aux~1 aux~2 etc. The system command prompt will not rename these, reporting The parameter is incorrect. I suspect a reserved character string, possibly dealing with serial ports (I think they are referred to as aux somewhere in command line-ville). Any thoughts on that one? The same error is happening with a directory named lpt1. Also, just tried to change a file name where it appears that the file extension has a trailing blank space .r00 Command prompt error: The system cannot find the file specified.
