texte = Hello,One project that comes up often is a message forum product using WebCatalog/WebDNA.If there is anyone interested in such a project, I woul be willing to setup a CVS project on my server to host it. My thoughts are this should be a forum that can be tied into an existing site and membership system, as well having the option to use its' own stand alone members database.A version (or option) to let it use a MySQL database as the backend would also be a good feature as an active message forum could easily become very large and require large amounts of memory. So to make the message retrival done via include files would allow the ability (I would hope) to just use which ever method the admin wants, native WebCat db's or MySQL db's.The forum should use stylesheets and header/footer includes to make it as easy as possible for someone to customize to their site look and feel. Basically the forums should run with a blank header and footer and validate properly. And yes, my ulterior motive is that I wish to have such a tool for my sites and know I would benefit from the knowledge of others, especially with the SQL part. But also, I think this would help many others use WebCat and could be a great learning tool for them (provided of course that the code is well documented).Dale-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
