Thanks, mr Grome! :-)Does anybody happen to know an easy alternative way to password protect pages? I need a way to allow users to change their passwords if they like and a way to redirect non-reistered visitors to a specified alternative page. A way to specify an expiration date for membership would be great too.I'd also love to link it all up with Kagi so that new users are automatically registered once they've paid, but I suppose that's asking for too much. Frank Nordberg http://www.musicaviva.com(I'm new on this list, so I suppose I ought to introduce myself: I'm a musician and former engineering school dropout who lives in Bodø, Northern Norway. My site, Musica Viva, is a music site (mainly classical and traditional due to copyright issues) that is run almost entirely by WebCatalog. I consider myself as fairly experienced in WebDNA, but since the site has been completely free for all until now, there are certain aspects of WebDNA (passwrods, shopping baskets etc.) I've never had the opportunity to try out. I don't own the server (an old Mac 8100 or something running WebCatalog 2.1) myself, but I know the sysop well and I'm the only one actually using WebCatalog on the server nowadays, so I'm basically free to do whatever I like there.------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
