texte = Hello Everyone,I'd like more information on using the Allow 'Absolute Path' Prefix feature. Let's say my WebSTAR V server directory looks like this:/Speed2/Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/My_Site/Smaller_Site...and I have a .tpl page located in the Smaller_Site folder from which I want to access a database located in the My_Site folder. I'm fully aware I could use ../ to go up one folder but I'm trying to understand how I could do it differently, perhaps using the Allow 'Absolute Path' Prefix. Would I do:a) [search db=/My_Site/Sample_Database.db&eqWhateverSearchdata=SomeVariable]b) [search db=* /Speed2/Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/My_Site/ Sample_Database.db&eqWhateverSearchdata=SomeVariable]c) [search db=^/My_Site/Sample_Database.db&eqWhateverSearchdata=SomeVariable]...or some other way you can think of. I'm trying to make the link portable to any number of subfolders because I might want to use this same link from Even_Smaller_Nested_Site_Folders which can't find the right directory level with the ../ method.WebSTAR V under OS X 10.2 is a different beast as far as directories are concerned so that's why I need your help.Thank you,-- Claude Gelinas, Chief Technology Officer SuperJobs.net Online Employment CentralMailto:cgelinas@superjobs.net http://www.superjobs.net/Phone: (418) 657-6184 Toll free: 1 866 783-2321Where dynamic employers find talented candidates. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
