A cool slideshow, slightly OT

texte = So I've been working on integrating WebDNA with some JavaScript - aslideshow that I found on Javascript.com. The end result is pretty cool, and I'd be happy to share code with anyone who's interested. The site isyet unfinished, but the slideshow is working. Here it is:http://previews.vsm.net/jdr2002/But... (ah, knew that was coming, didn't ya?) I have a question. You'll notice that the name of the band (pulled from the db) shows up in thesubmit button. In the JS Array, I establish one variable for the SKU andanother for the band name as I loop through the [founditems]. This way, Ican send the Submit button a value of Click for +[ bandname] and send theSKU in a hidden field, so that when the submit button is pushed, it goes tothe proper band's page. But what if I just wanted to display the band name as normal HTML text, rather than in the form? I'm only used to using thedocument.form.formvariable.value = x language, which requires me to havesome type of form in which to send my variable. Do any of you know how Icould just display the band photo, and then, like
[bandname] as partof the JavaScript Array? I'm assuming I need something related to thedocument.write command, but I'm not sure.Let me know about browser incompatibility with the slideshow, too. I'mpretty sure it doesn't work in Netscape 6 on Mac (big surprise), butotherwise seems to test fine for me.Thanks,-- Patrick Junkroski http://www.vsm.netP.S.
