texte = Hello Everyone,Does 4DWebSTAR V's cache management impress you?I personally find the server's overall stability over MacOS 9 very interesting but for my long WebCatalog pages where I use some [showif [Step]=First_Step] and later on [showif [Step]=Second_Step] and so on, WebSTAR's ability to deliver pages quickly dwindles to a crawl. For an example of this, just hit the front page at http://job.ca - see how much time it takes for the /Super.max page to show up!My first assumption would be that if my long WebCatalog page named Super.max was cached in WebSTAR, it would be a snap to find any particular [Step] when it's requested so information would be returned quickly.Anyone care to comment on this experience?-- Claude Gelinas, Chief Technology Officer SuperJobs.net Online Employment CentralMailto:cgelinas@superjobs.net http://www.superjobs.net/Phone: (418) 657-6184 Toll free: 1 866 783-2321Where dynamic employers find talented candidates. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
