texte = Okay I'm not sure how sales tax works in most states, but since my business is in NJ I only need to collect tax on items sold to residents of NJ.  If I sell into any other state I do not have to worry about the tax... except of course CA.  Because CA requires all companies to collect and remit CA sales tax on all items sold to residents of CA, regardless where the business is.  And since the CA sales tax fluctuates county to county I deemed it too much trouble so we just don't sell to anyone  over there.
