I've worked with several brands and have foundthat Hawking makes a good low cost external antenna (adjustable gain andpattern) wireless access point.I use only one to completely connect a20,000 sq ft warehouse with 802.11g. I'd opt for an 8 port router and useand external wap. For the dollar you can't beat Belkin as they offer alifetime warranty I think. I know for a few more dollars a Ciscorouter/firewall can't be beat. I use a Dell switch and a couple of Linksysrouters as well ... one wireless that I do not recommend. (software is easyto configure, etc but range is shaky) I only have an old hub from Netgearand it is the most solid block of hardware I have. (feels like a brick) Hopethis helps.RichC> Hi>> Can anyone recommend a router for setting up an Airport network using abase> station and 4 macs?
