texte = Stil thinking about a fair staright-forward comparison, but if it helps in your thinking, I did something similar recently and basically just let WebDNA 'rank' the results for me... db has 2 fields, "AVERAGE' and 'REVIEWS'...[search db=your.db.com&neWHATEVERdata=show_all&AVERAGEtype=num&AVERAGEsort=1&AVERAGEsdir=de&REVIEWStype=num&REVIEWSsort=2] you get the idea...I guess regarding the fair comparison, you'd need to assign some sort of value to the 'weight' of multiple reviews... I am working on something unrelated at the moment, but if a decent solution pops up, I'll share it.-Dan------------------------------------------------------------http://www.StrongGraphicDesign.comhttp://www.SearchBoise.com(208) 319-0137 | Toll-free p/f 877-561-1656------------------------------------------------------------On Fri, 12 Dec 2003 14:06:24 -0800 Marc Kaiwi
