texte = Hi Phil,As Doug wrote in the last email "there's always a delicate line to watch when we respond to talk list messages" and "sometimes you have to dance on that delicate line".I will not make this thread a marathon-thread as seen before, when you release product updates. It's very clear that we do not agree on several topics and details. But I would like to make it very clear to you that the arguments I have put forward in me previous mails to this thread is based on evidence from the years I have been a customer at Smith Micro. What I stated is the fact and I have copies of mails, website screendumps etc. to proof it.And Phil, I am not so naive that I believe that development time spent should end up being a free product. I my self work as a product manager at Denmarks largest Telco and I know what you are up against when you are working with development of software, release dates and feedback in open forums. That's why you are being hold up to your own message (dance). It's all about loyalty and trust. So walk the talk, yourself and make your company and your products a trust worthy product/solution.That's all for now. I believe it is important for both the company and users to speak out ones opinion to be able to establish a trust worthy relationship. Without it, nobody benefits.Sometimes you have to dance on that delicate line in a way of compromise to make it a win-win situation. Remember who your customers are and treat them as such, then the v6.0 release will be successful and the future releases too.Best wishesPalle B.
