It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 57216
interpreted = N
texte = Try removing the "thousands" from your format - that will insert commas, and resulting numbers like "012,345" which will cause problems for the MATH context. According to WebDNA, [math]012,345+1[/math] = 346 (345+1) As for the SKUtype=num, that's not actually necessary if all the SKUs are properly formatted with the .6d formatting (exactly 6 digits with leading zeros inserted if necessary). Text sorting will work properly with numbers formatted as "000999" "012345" "765432" etc., while the type=num would be necessary if they were "999" "12345" and "765432". - brian On Apr 2, 2004, at 12:05 PM, Clint Davis wrote: > You need specify that your SKU is a number... > > [search db=coord.db&neSKUdata=FIND_ALL&deSKUsort=1&SKUtype=num&max=1] > > > On 4/2/04 1:26 PM, "Lawrence" wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> I have a strange problem with a [Math] context. >> >> I have a db for which I increase the number with : >> [append db=coord.db]SKU=[Format thousands .6d][!] >> [/!][search >> db=coord.db&neSKUdata=FIND_ALL&deSKUsort=1&max=1][founditems][math][SK >> U]+1[/ >> math][!] >> [/!][/founditems][/search][/Format][/append] >> >> Once I have reached 10000 I can't increase the number any more! >> If I try to make a simple [append] with an number (ex:10250) There is >> no >> problem.
