texte = I have read the whole thread and have to say that the correct way of doing tar in the shell is: [shell] tar -czvf mytar.tar.gz sourcedir [/shell] to untar you do this: [shell] tar -xzvf mytar.tar.gz [/shell] This works with all versions of MacOSX.
