Just pass the [cart] into the flash file using: ..="movie.swf?cart=[cart]" That will create a variable called 'cart' in the _root level of the flash file. So you can use it in the getURL statement as: getURL("page.tpl?cart="+_root.cart); Erol ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donovan Brooke" To: "WebDNA Talk" Sent: Thursday, October 14, 2004 4:15 PM Subject: WebDNA vars parsed in FLASH (ActionScript) > Hello, > I'm having a heck of a time getting [cart] to parse inside of > flash. > > In flash, I set an action inside the action window (for the frame): > Get URL ("default.tpl?cart=[cart]",Vars=GET) > > Action works, but [cart] gets passed as "[cart]"... > > So then I tried to set it inside the object code thinking that webdna > isn't seeing the [cart] code to parse it in the first place. > > > > > > [!]**** setting it right here??
