texte = I saw this sorta answered in talklist archives but theposts were from 2000. Thinking there might be a betterway perhaps before I start...First off, I'm using 4.5 on IIS.I have a small blog type site. One db has all the bloggersOne db has all the blogsI want to show how many blog entries each of thebloggers have posted, and then sort them with the onehaving the most posts first etc... example:blogger8 (7 posts)blogger4 (5 posts)blogger3 (4 posts)etc etcThe only way to do this seems to be to create a tempdatabase, (or a maybe daily one since it will beaccessed many times on the front page.) and then do asearch and sort etc on that.summ=T or numfound or other combos of code snippetswith search and/or an embedded search within weren'tproducing what I want.Is my assumption correct or has someone come up withan easy way to do this?Or maybe 6 makes this type of solution easier???(sigh)Thanks__________________________________________________Do You Yahoo!?Tired of spam?
