For the more established business.. to me (and this is just my non-researched opinion), PayPal carry's the stigma of historically having a reputation as being a "cheap" solution to accept payments. PayPal, these days, has many more options.. but that doesn't necessarily change the stigma (in the eyes of a shopper). I believe PayPal also is limited in respect to this thread. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in order to pay someone, doesn't that someone need a PayPal account?.. limitations. A standard Authnet type of account probably isn't any better. Anyone know what PayPal's fees are compared to other gateways? They used to be more, but gateway fees seem to be growing, so I don't know how they compare these days. Like I said, it comes down to what works best for the project.. and PayPal does have it's place.. as well as some of the other services out there (yahoo etc..). I do like these comparison posts. If they are knowledgable comments, they can offer insight into the solutions that are out there. IMHO, Donovan -- =o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o DONOVAN D.
