Null Characters

texte = I have a client that's going to be uploading a new version of their database once a week. Unfortunately, the DB contains null characters between every normal character. Is there *ANY* way to strip these out during upload using [grep], [convertchars], [makeitstop], etc.? No matter what I try, the page stops rendering as soon as the first null character is encountered. Could anything be done with [shell]?
