The ODBC connects quickly but I cant get past the SQL notSupported error. I don't mind going off this route and going the unixODBCroute but unfortunately the instructions provided are pretty specificallycustomized for MYSQL and I admittedly am not comfortable enough to ad-lib.My attempts to do that (below) havent yeilded any success. Can I get Scott or someone to drop me an email to see what I can do to getthe supported feature working.ThanksAlex==============================I have webstar 5.4.1 running withunix-Macintosh OS X WebSTAR V Plug-in version 6.0Everything is working OK except I cant get this damn ODBC configured. In my library for the user account I have the ODBC.ini file with thefollowing installed:/Library/ODBC/Actual SQL Server.bundle/Contents/MacOS/atsqlsrv.soWhich was installed using the add feature of the ODBC manager on tiger. Themanager confirms the connection to the MSSQL server without issue but webcatreturns the dreaded SQL not Supported error.I have modified my weccatalog pref file to saySQLLibraryPath /Library/ODBC/Actual SQLServer.bundle/Contents/MacOS/atsqlsrv.soWhich I believe to be the write thing to do.Restarted and still the error. Now, first I thought that modifying the pref file with this path wouldessentially disable the error (try to do odbc connection). It has not.And of course I cant even get to the point of knowing if this valid ODBCdriver is going to work until I get that error to go away. Not the best personally with unix but can bull my way through anything(hence webstar and not apache). Does anyone have this OS setup working forodbc and MSSQL? I am certain the ODBC is playing nice because of the adminapp. Now I just have to get WEBDNA to step up to the plate.:_(Anyone?AJ-- Alex J McCombie Adventure Skies Interactive (ASI)Alex@Adventureskies.com-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
