TCPConnect TimeOut?

numero = 67652

texte = Is there a way to tell TCPConnect to timeout after a set number of secs? I currently have a TCPConnect which grabs data from an external source, but occasionally the source server is very busy, and can take up to 10 secs to return the data. I'm looking to build a method that waits for 5 secs, and if nothing's come back - then just move on to the next part of the code - allowing me to add a "sorry not available right now" message. I've looked at elapsedtime, but am unable to see how I can get it to work in this context. Any thoughts? Thanks.
