numero = 67816
interpreted = N
texte = I mean to pass them in the URL. I also like to keep it clean does I create a system with chars and numbers. Thus you only pass one parameter and then separate it with middle in your code. Something like: For your first level: index.tpl?id=a1b5 For your second level: index.tpl?id=a1b5c2d8 For your third level: index.tpl?id=a1b5c2d8e3f6 This would mean that you pass the level and the id of the first menue to the next and so on. So in my example I know that the first level has id "5" on the third level and the second level has the id "8". Like this I could code my search so that the tree stays open. I hope you understand the idea:-) Nitai Steve Craig wrote: > Hi > > Thanks for the reply, when you say you pass the number to each menu > etc do you mean within the code loop or as passed url variables?
