texte = Yes you can call SMSI and order the Linux version. I ordered one severalmonths ago. However you can't run it with the latest versions of Apache. Ifyou search the news archives for CentOS you should find some tips on gettingthis setup. The linux version does run quite nicely. You may also want to check with the guys at blueboxgrid.com. They set updedicated servers, can set up a Linux version if you provide the serialnumber, have *extremely* good customer service, and is carbon neutral.Disclosure: I am a happy customer.Laters, Olin -----Original Message-----From: WebDNA Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com] On Behalf Of PaulWillisSent: Wednesday, July 25, 2007 5:12 AMTo: WebDNA TalkSubject: New WebDNA serverHiWe currently run WebDNA 6 on Mac OS X Servers. Unfortunately there being noIntel version of WebDNA available we are unable to purchase new servers toreplace our ageing kit.We are thinking about deploying a Linux servers and getting the Linuxversion of WebDNA - assuming I can get a response from SMSI. This wouldallow us (I hope) to buy a new server. Is this correct?Paul-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
