I may consider a duel G5... bit "skeered" of an ebay purchase, but I suppose if I found a good one... Yea, going intel would eliminate the idea of installing webdna (for the time being anyway)... but the idea on this box is to have primarilly a gaming server. :-) (I buy space from server farms for my web clients). However, I'd like to have a LAMP model running on the machine as well... and mail. I checked the apple discount store thinking there may be some G5 refurbished machines... no go on that. I may try some of the retail stores to see if they have any old models they want to deal with. I may even look into acquiring a duel G5 and then installing ubuntu on that! They appear to really support the mac platform over there. That may solve Clint's remarks about mySQL and, at the same time, allow me to run WebDNA.
