texte = I have used and still use phpmyAdmin when I need to access the databases via the web. But navicat is so much more responsive, plus I love the way you can setup stored procedures and specialized views. Its the difference between having a web enabled photoshop and a true local copy of photoshop. Its not that phpMyAdmin doesn't have its uses it does, its just very slow and if you need to change lots of records, etc. its a nightmare. You can also setup processes to happen automatically ie culling old records from the database is as easy as a mysql statement and set it to a timed action.
