texte = Hello!, I have an 8MB products (WebDNA) database that I recently re-encoded to UTF-8 from what used to most likely be a Mac Western type of encoding. Since the product descriptions were copy/pasted by mac users to the site CMS (from who knows what type of desktop application), there are some issues now with certain characters after the conversion. I am looking for ideas on how best to deal with those odd non UTF-8 characters without having to manually edit 3K records. I suppose if there were a list of UTF-8 characters that differ from Western Characters, I could write up a script to do a conversion.. but that is about my only idea right now. Thanks for any ideas!
