Their docs still refer to old stuff.. such as Apache1.3. They install the MAMP directory in the applications folder... which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. They also say not to use their product live. :-) Lastly, they install Apache 2.0.63 (at least that's what it looks like) and the CICADA module is not actually compatible with that version of Apache. I would find out exactly what version was installed... because I don't trust their online docs. So, my answer to Jonathan would be.. if you want a MAMP server. First, delete the MAMP directory and everything that your mamp.info installer installed. Then: 1.) uncomment the PHP line in your standard etc/apache2/httpd.conf 2.) Install a MySQL package for OSX.. here is one link: http://www.entropy.ch/software/MacOSx/mysql/ 3.) Install WebDNA the wizzard way. There you have it.. your professional level MAMP server is now ready... or.. should I say your: MAMWP server is ready... doesn't have the same ring.
