I am currently using v 6.2 and the thread is talking about 7.0 and 8.0 and fastcgi. Is fastcgi going to be required to run the upcoming versions on linux appache2? Noted below is that the [url] command system is being deprecated. So does this mean that [URL] and [UNURL] tags are going away? What are they going to be replaced with? I use [url] and [unurl] regularly. I do not personally use SiteBuilder, Sanboxes or any of the [cart] functions but I do use [url] and [unurl]. In my opinion, it would be a major set back and a lot of work for everyone who has sites operating using the existing functions and features that are on the chopping block. Why can't most of the existing functions and features that work stay in place and only add new functionality to future releases? Personally what I would really like to see in an upcoming version is a more direct seamless way to import tab delimited or CSV files. Anything in the works for this? -Steve christophe.billiottet@webdna.us wrote: > No, in v 7.0, we removed 'ShoppingCarts/' and 'Orders/' > The [purchase] tag is not deprecated though, but should not be operational. > > - chris > > > On Jul 5, 2010, at 19:36, Govinda wrote: > > >> so then in version 7, [purchase] still moves a shopping cart file from 'ShoppingCarts/' to 'Orders/' (in case of old legacy shopping sites?) >> etc. (...shopping *contexts*??) >> >> -G >> >> On Jul 5, 2010, at 7:20 PM, christophe.billiottet@webdna.us wrote: >> >> >>> Here the list of the modifications in v 7.0 >>> >>> >>> --- >>> Deprecated: XML-like syntax >>> Deprecated: [applescript] >>> Deprecated: phone home system >>> Deprecated: the URL command system >>> Deprecated: sandboxes and "global" >>> Deprecated: old licensing system (domain limits, versions...) >>> >> --------------------------------------------------------- >> --------------020503040000000007060006 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi all,
