we pretty mush built ours from scratch over 11 years.
we have many things modified in even the checkout parts.
our latest system did not use formulas.

however we did always use the cart and the purchase tags as part of the system.
and whatever that was doing three or 4 critical pages atr checkout, probably only checkout.tpl, invoice.tpl, and thanks.tpl even have that part in use.
our credit card interface an.tpl is all our own.

maybe it wont take that much to replace the rest.
just did not really want more non paying work on my plate right now and was trying to consolidate servers not spread out more.

not easy to run v6 and v7 on same server.

we did use those

I always felt many of the functions in the old WebCatalog system were way over bloated and contrived.=A0 My feeling was that in an effort for SMI to add millions of features the system became impossible to easily manage.

The system was great, but who ever actually use *all* of those features without hacking them apart somehow? Not to mention all the hidden features inside the code that SMI never finished.

When Chris took over WSC and announced the depreciation of the shopping cart contexts my company began to recreate the shopping cart system from scratch.=A0 We didn't recreate all the features, only what was needed for the retail business that we service.=A0 Honestly, it only took us 4 weeks, maybe even less.=A0 No more than 160 man hours.

This gave us the chance to really examine what our customer needs have been, to trim the fat off the system, and make it so much more manageable.

If WebDNA is your love, like it is mine, then this is the perfect opportunity to whip up something that will be much better than the WebCatalog features, and a heck of a lot more user friendly too.

limited WSC.=A0 That's why my guess is that it's never going
to happen.
